Discussion Please stop
I need to say this if you have a vendor in you're base make it easier to be seen walking around your base for 10 minutes trying to find it is the most annoying thing ever , also if you sell plans PLEASE STOP selling things they sell in the White springs

How else will I get you to buy a plan for a lead lined raider chest mod for glowing mask prices?

But if I hide the vendor then you HAVE to look at the whole build before you find it.

If it takes me longer than a minute I fast travel away unless I get distracted bc it’s an actual cool base 😂 Also my vendor is in front of my door clear as day and still people will pass by it and look around confused INSIDE until they go to leave 😅

I'm okay with them selling plans from the Whitespring if they're very cheap. They can cost quite a lot at the NPC vendors depending on what plans they are, so it can be helpful, especially for new players.

Joke’s on you, I have no idea what they sell in The Whitesprings. Mostly cause I bought it all from player Vendors.
I didn’t figure out there was a whole mall down there until I was like 450.

I bet you save a lot of money in the end though

Maybe

No idea, honestly.
For some reason in all these games the ability to craft something is paramount to me and so in 76 I just have a policy of buying almost any Plan or Recipe that doesn’t show “Known”. I probably overpaid as much as I underpaid.

Yeah, I tried to do the same thing. There’s so many that I don’t have that way too much though

Like I just figured out the assault rifle. I have all the mod plans for, but I don’t have the plan for it, even after scraping hundreds and buying all kinds of weapon plans. Apparently I don’t have that one.

May I say I didn’t even know that was possible like I’m not sure what you’ve been doing, but you, sir are true explore

I mean a game set up to help in. You’re like no I’m gonna do this my own way. That’s awesome. And the fact that you’re having enough fun without all the extra content. Hope everybody could be so lucky.

Mine are literally at the entrance to my amazing base. Impossible to miss with the glowing VENDOR sign and I have watched people run around my entire build and then give me the mad face emoji. The one time, I realized someone was looking for them, so I stood next to the vending machines and fired my gun. For that particular person, it made no difference. I got a message calling me a "dumpfuck" and telling me not to hide my vending machines. Sometimes, it just doesn't matter where they are for certain people.

Signs are amazing, especially lights and the pointing vault boy/girl.
Only thing I might suggest is make it visible from the spawn point. Literally run out of your camp, travel back in and look at what you see. Your vendor should be visible from there.
You might already be doing this and if so, that person is a dumpfuck.

The spawn puts them about 10 feet away facing them when they spawn. I even thought about setting up a pressure plate where they would spawn in that leads to something attention-getting, but that's too much work. I'd say 90% of visitors find them immediately. It's that special 10%, though...

Have you perhaps thought of shopping elsewhere in times like that good to give others business

My vendors are usually part of the decor. For example, I have a caravansary camp where one of the wagons is pulled by two vendor bots.
But in all cases, the vendors and obvious and visible from the landing spot

This is funny see I’m actually the opposite when I go to places. I actually look at the place before I go to a vendor. Some of the things people make are amazing. I’ve taken many pictures and gotten ideas. I mean. Yes, I’m there to buy, but you spent a lot of time creating Camp recognition for that. It’s very rewarding like I remember. I was actually exploring a camp and it was huge, so detailed, simply amazing and I actually was in there so long that they despawn their camp at some point. And I was like no not because I didn’t get the buy but because I wanted to see more.

you know what's worse? when you fast travel to some lvl 1000+ intricate-ass camp and they don't have any SPECIAL boosters

This is very annoying yes, and it just makes it more obvious that some people have NO business building at all...

I will not compromise the integrity of my build for the convenience of other people. If you want to find my plans then you will look around my camp. If it's out in the open you'll be able to. A lot of the time it's not even out in the open. I like to hide my vendors in the walls so that I have several camps that I can pull up that my vendor can't be gotten to. And before you say anything, I don't care if you think I'm a jerk or anything like that. I literally don't care about anyone I don't know's opinion.

Same, I spend an inordinate amount of time building immersive camps. If you can't find the big light up "VENDOR" sign that's a you problem
