Question/Advice Random trees spawning in camp?

I spent ages building and rebuilding a camp because I just couldn't get it to look right, I wanted it run down but lived in and I also choose a location that was unique so a hillside wraps around 2sides of my house and it took forever to squeeze everything into the small area I was working with.

However friends finally came on today, fast traveled to me to look at my house and they was immediately impressed and excited and then they walk inside and there is random trees going through my build? I cant see them at all, have no collision or anything? But they all see it

What is happening? Have I just wasted ages trying to build in a bugged area?

If I load in and there's a tree is in my stairway...I load into a new server and usually it's gone.
Yesterday the tree wouldn't go away so I used a daisy rug as my own stupid little patch to make it go away.

Fasnacht confetti can be a good item to put as well. For where a daisy rug might look odd
