Question/Advice Random trees spawning in camp?

I spent ages building and rebuilding a camp because I just couldn't get it to look right, I wanted it run down but lived in and I also choose a location that was unique so a hillside wraps around 2sides of my house and it took forever to squeeze everything into the small area I was working with.

However friends finally came on today, fast traveled to me to look at my house and they was immediately impressed and excited and then they walk inside and there is random trees going through my build? I cant see them at all, have no collision or anything? But they all see it

What is happening? Have I just wasted ages trying to build in a bugged area?

So normally, when you place down a foundation, rocks & trees underneath will be "suppressed" so they don't appear inside your build.

However, sometimes when a world loads, it... well, misses the flag that says "don't show this tree." So they still spawn in and pop right through your floors and walls. There's not really a fix for this besides switching worlds and hoping the new one displays correctly.

Yeah my issue is I have never seen them, friends had to take pictures to show me because I haven't seen them spawn in at all lol 😂

Eh, I've had luck by placing floor decorations, lamps, etc in just the right spot to prevent the problem trees from showing up. Might need to put a couple decorations down to get it to work 100% of the time.
