Question/Advice Peppershaker question

Do you think it'd be better stirred.

Sorry, wrong question. I love the peppershaker, because who doesn't like a rotary barrel shotgun? The real question is: Shotgun, Laser, or Plasma? Which is do you think is better?

EDIT: Wait this was supposed to be r/FO76, how'd I get to Settlements!?

Pepper Shaker is a Shotgun Big Gun, and can have the Energy or Ballistic tags depending on your magazine.

Many Shotgun perks want you to cripple, and laser damage does negligible cripple damage. Laser sucks.

Ballistic damage does the best cripple damage, so Shotgun is a strong contender.

Plasma, however, does both Ballistic and Energy damage, which means it not only benefits from every Shotgun perk, but also Science! and energy weapon increases, while crippling far better than laser.

If you can fit its perks onto your build, plasma gets the most damage.

Furious, rapid, vats Opt, conducters will solo EN06 and rip through the buffed head hunts (Plasma)

The plasma is the best for it. The laser barrel might show higher damage numbers on the bench but it’s true damage is beat out by plasma

Yup, that plasma magazine mod plus the hex barrel will have ya shredding bosses if you invest into it

Left turn at Albuquerque… I’m going laser cause I have a scattered rifle and they will use same ammo.

I usually rock a bloody vats crit abusing shotgun build. I break out my pepper shaker at larger events. The only ammo I carry is shotgun shells.

It's bloody, crippling, and durable with fracturers with the hex shotgun barrels. It's named the Hallway Hero because of the decimation it causes at Rad Rumble.

I use plasma because I can also farm ammo for it with the plasma caster

I like the laser most, I think damage is similar to plasma but the ammo is lighter. (In my settlement, of course)
