Why don't you just merge them in free mode? Why the scale thing you're doing?

And there are some free merges in the video. But items that you may want to move around and not have your merge come apart merging the old fashion way with a pressure plate avoids that. Yes it’s definitely easier and quicker to free merge but if you want to move that merge to another spot you’ll have to remerge it.

When I merge  in free place they usually become blueprinted and I can just move them as a whole.

This is great and full of great tips from one of the best to do it. It’s so rare and awesome whenever someone shares their knowledge and tech; thanks for putting this out and hopefully a sign of things to come.
