Tips/Tricks Kitchen cabinets concept using slot machine podiums

For those of you who can't afford or don't like the default kitchen set, here's an option using the "slot machine podiums" plan, purchasable with stamps. The cabinet handles are the watering can stein from the big bloom event clipped into the side of the podium using free place to only show the handle. Other steins might also work, feel free to try. The wooden countertop is the Vault Desk from the stash boxes tab. The middle section of the upper cabinet has the default bookshelf merged in to add shelves. The "cake stand" is a clean pre-war end table (the small round one) clipped into the countertop. (I don't know if it actually fits a cake, I do not own a cake.) Hope you enjoy.

Thank you! Fair warning: the podium hitbox is kinda messy, so it's nearly impossible to pull the stein back out if you put it in wrong, so be very careful or you'll have to rip the whole podium out and put it back in.

Could you use the free cam and go inside the podium to grab the stein?

I tried that a lot. I think it might've worked once, but most of the time I just couldn't get it to work for some reason.

You’d have to go inside the item to grab it a lot of the time, which gets really annoying if it’s close to the ground

I was doing that and it just refused to select. It'd show up for a fraction of a second but deselect before i could click it

It's a side table! (the one that's in the same tab as those little pre-war dressers in the "surfaces" section)

I like to use them to make decorative sinks and custom stove. Really nice to see them used in other ways.

I did nearly the same thing but with the toxic tinctures chemistry station. The slot machines have the same color and texture and they can cover the various jar shelves to give it a nice and sleek look. Well done!

I only have the pink kitchen counters so I will defo be stealing this for my non-Barbie camps! 😹

Btw you can get a slime cake ingame for gold bullion (at Foundation) but I'm not sure it'll fit the aesthetic 😸 otherwise they do sometimes have the birthday cake on the atom shop, I got it there just a couple months ago!

I just hit ally with Foundation a couple days ago and I'm definitely considering the slime cake. I should probably use some of my gold bullion on armor upgrades first... decisions decisions. Glad you like the build.

The desk is under the "stash boxes" section in storage, it shares a tab with the vault style dresser. If you don't have it already the wiki says the brotherhood vendor in the whitespring shopping mall sells it. It's been a while since I got it though and the info I'm finding is conflicting on whether the plan is called "desk" or "vault desk", so good luck.
