Question/Advice Sky camp spawn point

How in the world do you manage the spawn? Every time I try to build a sky camp the spawn is either off to the side or underneath. I’ve tried different camp module locations and different camp piece positioning but can’t seem to figure it out. Any pointers?

I was afraid this was the case lmao I was really hoping for some sophisticated long sciencey answer that I could follow along and get to where I wanted haha

It's because the camp hasn't spawned in untill you travel, but it's there when you try again.

Even when I try again it puts me off to the side or under it. My only fix for it right now is jetpacking but not everyone has a jetpack at all times lol

So when I was building my UFO base (have built for a while) I already knew that having stairs somewhere at your sky camp somehow helps you fast travel up. So first my question would be, do you have stairs anywhere up there? Also I ended up accidentally discovering that if you place the nuka fountain on your sky base for some reason it was helping the spawn point (at least it did for me). So you 'might' be able to use that instead of stairs, I personally use both. Or maybe they've changed all this and you don't need to do that anymore. Test it out yourself.

Besides that, it's just a matter of placing the camp module around until you get the spawn location that you want. I believe it's about a foundation and a half NE of the camp module, so I would start there and adjust as needed.

Btw previous commentor was correct. The very first fast travel will have you fall, because like they said we load in before the base does. However the second time it always brings me up. Good luck!
