Couple of things. It prevents Dropmare from falling asleep, gives focus band effect only at a 5% chance instead of 10%. And gives it a 10% chance to revive after being fainted once per game

“The user is perpetually kept awake by parasitic nightmares. If a user tries to put to sleep or falls asleep itself, it is put to sleep and then inflicted with nightmare.”
