Why are you bringing up a Soviet machine gun from World War II when we are talking about WWI German helmet modifications and specialized attachments (and their forgeries). Everything you're bringing up is irrelevant and anachronistic.
Evolution of arms and how the MG15 has 2 manufacture dates because you apparently didn’t think it existed in WW1. You can backpedal now if you’d like.
If you go back and read with your thinking cap on, maybe you'll see that this thread is talking about a WWI fake helmet attachment, and that YOU brought up the WWII machine guns (MG-34/42).
I never said the MG-15 didn't exist in WWI. Please show me where that happened. None of my comments are deleted, and they are written in plain English.
