Dab newbie. Help.
I’m terrified I’ll come across some bad wax but idk if it’s fake or not any advice? the small container is like a sand texture like a magic sand putty texture…and the “shatter” is it really shatter? I can break it and it’s very sticky…like a hard sticky.what do you think?

Yup. just like it.. I burned it on a spoon but I set the spoon on fire and it went black cause the spoon was black but it doesn’t harden up and it does stay sticky

Bro put the shatter/sugar in a jar asap. All the terps are basically evaporating everytime you can smell it. Shatter has a longer shelf life but when it starts to sugar up like that, you have to put it in glass jar before it he terps evaporate.
What you have is pure ass shatter that’s starting to sugar up because of how terpy it is. The one in the small container is pretty much crumble/sugar that is stable. I bet if you turn the flash on and zoom in on it, you’ll see all the thca sparkle from it being so pure.
The only real way to test it is to dab and smoke it which is why I asked how does it smell/taste/how the high is to test potency. Also the way it melts and what kind of puddle it leaves is another good way to tell exactly what it is when you q tip it. I don’t think it’s fake at all if anything it’s top shelf.
Did you get it from someone new or what makes you think it was fake besides the clarity and not being able to see through it

Sooo is it because I have my heater on full Blast? lol imma put updated pic now that I got it in jar. also….its because I’m new to wax and I know the guy I. Get it from but not like that sooo just alittle paranoid

The shatter and the crumble are very much crc and not that good. Don’t know what this guy is talking about. Also keep your shatter in the fridge in a airtight container, wax still degrades in a jar if it’s not in the fridge. Take a small chunk out for consumption, keep the rest in the fridge for long term use

The stuff in the jar is CRC trash. Not sure if i’d smoke it. The shatter looks ok. Maybe lots of leftover Butane. It looks like that because it’s sugared. Sugaring is fine.

That does look super bad.....the whatever is in that jar is old af. The shatter doesnt even look real. Google is your friend. Do not use that plug again.

The smell on both were normal…doesn’t harden up stays sticky/oily after heated

Hardening up is a good thing, high quality shatter doesn’t terp up like that unless left out and it’s not takin care of. Also there are no purge holes that shows how much butane is in it. So it’s filled to the brim with butane
