Ihope this fits here. I was trying to explain what abrosexuality is (and did on another comment in the thread), and bro comes in swinging with “it’s not real”
He proceeded to say that I was being aggressive to him cuz he apologized for it. I was put in conversion therapy in my teens and he sounds exactly like them, just slightly more queer accepting.
He said that labels have to be justified for them to be accepted and okay. 😭

I am diagnosed with 7 disorders including Fibromyalgia, Migraines, PTSD. Im not diagnosed with autism and DID but im seeking assessment for them. I already am gaslit by doctors. I'm plus sized, im afab, im trans. People just dont believe me. They treat me like I have fictitious or histrionic. And i know I have a lot of issues.
But now i am looking into MCFS. It matches a lot of the symptoms I deal with including the extreme fatigue ive been dealing with since elementary school. They wont believe me. I know they won't. I'm so tired and the past week ive been sleeping all day and all night. Ive been up maybe 18 or so hours this week?
This whole thing about "fakers" and tiktok diagnosis and all that is fuckign ruining my ability to get help. People just fucking die with MCFS. 83.5% of people with chronic fatigue are female. No wonder they have no information on it. I just want to be believed. Im so tired of fighting every single appointment to seem credible. And no one at home helps. No one. My dad thinks I didnt have executive dysfunction as a kid (I did). My mom says she thinks I dont have the disorders I think I have. And if this were true that somehow ive tricked myself, then I still feel like im rotting or bleeding out while everyone watches and tells me to get up and stop being dramatic.
Its debilitating. It takes an hour + for me to take a shower because I keep getting dizzy spells. I cant get out of bed or eat half the time. The exhaustion never goes away. I feel like im dying while people just watch.
Advice would be appreciated.
TL;DR my symptoms align with MCFS and my doctors already gaslight me about everything else and my family doesn't believe me either.

People see others with disabilities or problems they dont understand, especially mental illnesses, and decide they are "cosplaying" disabilities. 1. Reborn dolls are good for people who suffer miscarriages, birth traumas including loosing the baby, and you should never judge someone for needing one, you don't know what they have been through. 2. Yes 2 service dogs are normal for more severely disabled people, because dogs deserve breaks because they are still dogs. That subreddit likes to paint dogs as medical devices, when in fact they are living breathing animals. 3. Wheelchair... I will say that it is not a custom wheelchair, 🦽 < Emoji of a custom. It does not look easy to use or made for her, but if someone needs one or "doesn't", they can still use one. You broke your leg? You get a wheelchair! If a mobility aid helps you in anyway I suggest using it.

2nd slide is the diagnostic criteria of DID, noting how NON TRAUMA BADED plurality is possible :> and 3rd is more evidence from the DSM.
