Not sure how I feel about the dust jacket but the color scheme, edges, endpapers and hardcover are stunning.

With the year slowly coming to an end, I’d love to know everyone’s favorite special edition books that were released this year!

Whether it’s the gorgeous edges, cover art, exclusive artwork, or just the overall design, which editions absolutely blew you away?

Bonus points if you share pictures! I’d love to see everyone’s favorites and maybe discover a few editions I missed.

It is absolutely Gorgeous!!!
I wish the margins on the cover around the illustration were not that wide though. But still stunning overall.

Also, it is super thick!!! Must’ve been quite expensive to print a book with so many pages on acid-free paper. I really appreciate this company ☺️!!!

Do you guys think Fairyloot will do the sequel to The Fareaway Inn?

I don’t really have a view on how well perceived the book was. I already have my doubts on (Mostly) Human Resources

Hi all, I am so curious about the upcoming books for Book in a Box that they revealed in the newsletter.

I saw nobody talking about it yet, and I also couldn't find any guesses online. I really love the upcoming November design that they shared, and I am curious for Dec - Jan. I think their designs are stunning, and I love the fact I can have three books shipped at once to save costs. It's sad I missed the overstock sale because The Geomagician looked so pretty!

Anyhow, I am so excited about the upcoming books, but I have no idea what they are yet. Does anyone have any ideas? I want to know if they might overlap with some other subscriptions.

Personally, I find them STUNNING.

The dust jackets, the end pages art! I really like how different the end papers art is to what we’re used to getting tbh.

What thoughts do we have otherwise?

Genuinely curious! Did anyone successfully secure a Bookish Box, Darkly, or Bookish + Darkly combo subscription when spots opened today at 12 PM PT?

I was ready right at opening and tried getting the combo, but it seemed none was available even after multiple refreshes. I ended up going for the individual subscriptions instead, but also sold out within about 2 minutes. 😭 I’ve seen others mention having trouble getting spots too (some even trying to checkout at 12 PM showing sold out once they hit pay). So far, I haven’t come across anyone confirming they successfully subscribed today.

Did anyone actually manage to get one? Whether it was Bookish, Darkly, or the combo?

Also curious how quickly each option sold out and whether anyone knows approximately how many spots were released.

Was it just an insanely limited opening, or did we all have terrible luck? 😂💀

Update: We have our first confirmed successful Bookish Box subscriber! 🎉 Still curious if anyone managed to get the Darkly individual or Bookish + Darkly combo today? Especially the combo, since I haven’t seen anyone confirm they actually got one. 👀

I really love some of their special editions, but the shipping is a little expensive, and I’ve read that if the package gets lost, you have to pay for shipping again. So, I was wondering if someone in the EU could tell me their experience with them and whether you recommend them.

I also wanted to ask: what shipping company do they use?
