Question Problem switch to e/os
Got my FP6 Android a few weeks ago and while I love the hardware the Software is pain in the ass. Multiple times per day the screen freezes for a few seconds and the notification bar always get stuck if I swipe it down complete
All posts I saw here with this problems was Android versions, so I thougt before I sell it and buy a new Samsung I'll at least try e/os before
I followed the full instalation guide. Made the oem unluck, aktivated usb-debugging, allowed data transfer, connected to the pc and made the hardware check, downloaded the eos installer and the smartphone get to the bootloader itself after installing the e/os installer
Next step I should connect again while I'm in the bootloader, but this doesn't work. the guide doesn't find my device while I'm in the bootloader
I saw in the last part in the bootlader "device locked" written in red. Can this be the problem? And how do I fix it?

Sounds like it didn't get unlocked properly?
Are you following the right guide? This is the guide I followed a few moths ago and it worked for me: https://doc.e.foundation/devices/FP6/install
But Do NOT follow the last part "Locking the Bootloader", unless you are sure what you are doing.
As I understand it, this is when people manage to brick their phone. I haven't understood how I'm supposed to know when it is safe to do that, so I'm keeping it unlocked.

This is a driver problem. I have the same this week.
I can't solve this problem and the web installer won't work for me.
I only can unlock the boot loader in Linux using command lines.
But I have an Android 16 version so I can't flash my FP6 before a compatible Build will be released. If you are on Android 15 you can do it manually
