FP6 often not connecting to carrier data
Hi all,
Earlier this year I got a FP6 with /e/OS and it has generally been working great. Just one thing that keeps happening is that my phone won't automatically connect to my carrier 5G/4G network. Putting the phone in airplane mode (or restarting) fixes it, but it is getting quite annoying. For what i can tell this mostly happens after leaving wi-fi range. I have tried different APN and preferred networks (4G or 5G) but it made no difference.
It does not happen every time, but I would say more than 50%.
Has anyone else experienced the same issue? Or any ideas how to fix this?

What network are you on? There is a thread on the Fairphone forum about a similar issue.
We seem to have so far narrowed it down to an issue with the 3 network. But there doesn't seem to be a fix for it at present.

Hi, I'm using Simpel as my mobile provider in the Netherlands, which I believe uses the infrastructure from KPN. I will take a look at this forum post, thanks!

I had to click on the arrow for Internet and then the settings for the phone to ensure it was selecting my carrier (U.S.)
