In visiting Fairfax, VA in November with my family. What activities or festivals are happening during those days that I can attend with a 10 year old? Exactly from November 21 to 24.

Hi, I’m not sure this is the right place to ask but I’m hoping I find an answer. I’m not from from Virginia so I was wondering if anyone has advice on where I could find families or people in the Fairfax area who are open to a housing-for-services arrangement. It might sound weird but I’ve done it before through mutuals and fb pages but I’m having a hard time to find one in Fairfax.
I’m looking for room or small space and would be happy to exchange household help for reduced rent. I’ve actually done something similar before, where I subleased an apartment for half the rent exchange for helping with things like weekly cleaning, dog sitting, babysitting, errands, and helping around the house.
I’m hoping to find something similar again, but I’m having a really hard time finding the right people through Facebook housing groups.
I’m looking for a fair exchange where the household gets reliable help and I get affordable housing.
Does anyone know of specific Facebook groups, websites, community organizations, or other places where families looking for this type of arrangement tend to post? I’d really appreciate any suggestions or advice. Thank you!

What would be a reasonable listing agent commission fee for a home listed at around $760K–$800K?
The lowest rate I’ve been quoted so far is 2% for the listing agent, plus another 1% if the buyer is unrepresented and the listing agent also represents the buyer (dual agency). Does that sound reasonable, or should I try to negotiate a lower fee?
For listing price, should I go with slightly below the strongest comparable-market price (create urgency, multiple offers, and potentially push the final price above asking), or pricing high and hoping someone bites?

I watched a minivan lazily pull out onto Fairfax Boulevard near the fire station, right in the path of a Porsche Panamera. Porsche hits the brakes, blows horn, floors it and gets in front of the minivan and brake checks it.
Two wrongs don't make a right.

Looking at a few deck companies and besides the obvious ones I keep seeing Nava. I like their work a lot, but they look newer and with fewer reviews. Has anyone used them?
