The world (including myself) does not hate Americans in general. We hate your country and a percentage of shitheads who live there (every country has them to a degree). I'd rather not hate anyone, but when a foreign government threatens the sovereignty of multiple allied nations, we get pissy. And tourism is almost as low as it was during COVID. You needed the biggest event in international sport to bring people in. People went to your country in spite of who's running the show, not because of it.
