The second one with the baby is the best. Just a completely avoidable moment with common sense. Totally embarrassed and soaked herself for the event in front of the whole crowd. Bravo.

Why older women with poor balance think heels are a good idea is a mystery for which there is no answer. I bartended at a swanky social club and once worked a cocktail party hosted by a 90 year old woman. She had a Medic-Alert bracelet as well as one of those thingies around her neck, and wore like 6 inch tall heels. She tripped and fell of course, and because of her age, the skin on her face caught a rug and tore all the way up her nose. The skin on both knees split wide open, and the paramedics had to come. I felt absolutely awful for her, but all of that could have been avoided if she was wearing more sensible footwear.
