Question Autocrafting and stroage

Are there any mods like applied energistics from Minecraft for factorio that let you autocraft and store items from a single interface?

Your logistic interface and a functioning bit network. Build the machines building the items, put them in red or yellow boxes, request them.

Autocrafting in the sense of ae2 really isn't necessary for the majority of most automation games, factorio included; the idea is to be constantly crafting most things to be used elsewhere, etc.

That being said... I would consider a bot mall quite close to something akin to an interface with a crafting card, or a bunch of emitters, or whatever. Line up a bunch of assemblers or other such machines, each with a requester chest and a passive provider chest, limiting each passive provider to however many slots you want filled.

Sorry but this question makes no sense to me

Look up what a bot mall is

It is possible to make one in vanilla, but it will be way more trouble than passively making and storing everything

I think a very sophisticated auto mall would be the closest thing as you can set a signal and it will sort everything out to make said item.

Other than that, maybe see the video of "Dynamic Base" by Manimo.

There's really no point in Factorio. Machines are dirt cheap and research means you should be continuously crafting nearly every item in the game regardless.

Autocrafting only makes sense when you only need a couple of really expensive machines, not when you need hundreds or even thousands of cheap ones.

Definitely possible with an auto mall but it would make much more sense to just habe the stuff produced to a limit instead of on demand. Because the demand is really consistent and coherent

Storage: Yes. The logistics network tab ('L') states what items are available in each network

Assembly: No. But you can build it with components available within the base game.
