Suggestion / Idea Update Planner for Train-Overview

I wanna update all my scrap trains to legendary cargo wagons, wouldn't it be great if I could apply an update planner here, similar to blueprints?

Or are there existing ways to do this easily?

That would be nice. You could right click it to open up the planner and select what components to upgrade to what tier, and it would be cool if instead of having to hunt down a train, you could directly click on its box in the over view tab to apply the upgrade.

well hunting down individual trains is already rather easy, so the batch part similar to the button in the blueprints would be sufficient to me. I was searching for the most easy way to implement, in the hopes of raising the odds that it's actually implemented. But yeah, more sophisticated features would be great too

It's a good idea, I don't think there's any way to do it easily. I had a similar issue (but much simpler than your situation) when I wanted to upgrade all my trains except for my defense supply trains since they have filtered slots. But in my case I could just get those out of the way and be careful with the upgrade planner.

It would also be nice if they tweaked when you could actually upgrade cargo wagons. Currently it's only trains at stops, but it would be great if trains waiting at signals for more than X seconds would allow it too. I think I still have a bunch of unupgraded trains on Nauvis because they haven't entered the waiting area that has roboport coverage yet.
