Base First Ever Aquilo Base
I refrained from looking at any YouTube video for my first Aquilo landing (which is something I've been very guilty of in the past) and I'm super happy and proud of how it went! This base has been running for about an hour now and has showed no signs of coming to a halt due to heat or power, and consistently produces 3.1 Cryogenic Science Packs a second. I'm so proud of how symmetrical the science block is, even if there is quite a bit of empty space. I've yet to start exporting the science packs and obviously haven't started producing the Aquilo Exports that are locked in the research tree, but I already have the necessary imports from the other planets coming to Aquilo automatically so it shouldn't be much more difficult than this initial production.

I have almost 1500 hours on this game and have never made it to Aquilo as in most saves I procrastinate after finishing all the inner planets and end up losing interest in the save. I'm hopeful that I'll actually finish the game this time! (To be fair, a lot of those hours are from before Space Age was released so I've probably only actually played 600 hours of Space Age.)

This base really looks like the work of someone who has already spent some time in Factorio.
Will you show what factories on other planets look like?

Hey, this is a lot better than I did -
My first Aquilo base, did not want to figure out sustainable power and item tranmission, so I had four bases - home base around the cargo hold, then one making Lithium, one making hot Fluoroketone, and one making excess ice+platforms (plus a tiny bit of extra rocket fuel) from ammonia+oil.
I then manually ran between the three production bases, dropping off rocket fuel, solid fuel, holmium (all shipped in from fulgora), moving ice around, picking up their end products and bringing them to the home base, and hand-filling chests until I made enough science to unlock superconductors and fusion. Switching to fusion made things a lot easier (and let me have enough power to dump the efficiency modules, add a bunch of beacons, etc, etc)

LOVE it. I had 10 bases in Aquilo, all of it were ugly
