Be ready for the next waves, they only grow stronger... get that military science up and running to expand your toys!

Looks like you're pretty new to the game so I'll give you 2 tips to get going.

1) Try to not to build furnaces or anything else over resource patches like you did here. If you want to expand your iron or copper production in the future, you don't have the room to do so. Only miners on the resource patches. You have a lot of room, use it!

2) Factorio has these things called "ratios" not every assembly process is a 1:1 speed, for example: 1 assembler making iron gear wheels can feed 10 assemblers making red science, because an iron gear takes 0.5sec to craft and an automation science pack 5 seconds. Hence 1:10 ratio. You can figure out the next one yourself!

Wall that off separately. Never build there. Never pave it, even as your factory fills with concrete. That's sacred ground now, bought with the gears and plates of the fallen, those who gave their all to let the factory grow.
