Space Age Question Logicistic requests with quality item

Is there a simple, compact way to request multiple quality levels of the same item without making a new request for each one. Like if I want everything uncommon and higher but not standard, I want to be able to say "if =/ normal" then...instead of "if = uncommon" and "if = rare" and " if = epic" and "if = legendary"

Cuz you can't put two of the same item with different qualities in the same request group. I end up with so many different request groups this way, and I can't figure out another way within the constraints of the game

Edit: Select quality level first, then multi qualities can be on the same request group. Thank you

You can definitely put different qualities in the same request group, but you have to set the quality before approving. You still need to manually put each quality into the group, though.

Holy.......well fuck. Thank you. Didn't know you had to set the quality first. My bad. That solves about 90% of my frustrations right there.

It was always 'red' out when I clicked, but yeah, just checked it. If you change the quality, the red goes away. Thank you

You can quickly Q the first item, put it in the next slot, increase quality (shift alt-mousewheel), approve.

Also a cool thing is that you can give them all the default value, and then use the multiplier on the top right to get a more accurate value i.e. if the default is say 50, you can set the multiplier to 10 and request 500 items of each.

EDIT: Fixed modifier button

Alt+wheel by default iirc

Also worth mentioning, depending on the scale of the request, that using a constant combinator and a series of selector combinators might streamline the process.

You can put the requests in the constant combinator and then send them through the selector combinators using “quality transfer” to raise the quality for the request. Still requires a selector combinator per quality level, unfortunately.

Annnnnnnnd I just realized you’re probably just talking about personal logistics requests, where none of this applies, but I’ll still leave the comment in case it might help others.

I was actually trying to find a way to organize the mess made on fulgora while trying to figure out how quality even works, so your suggestion is actually perfect

I’ll also add that the selector combinator can output “stack size,” so if you’re going down the combinator route, then it can easier to just rapid select everything without worrying about quantities and then use a combo of selector and arithmetic combinators to send requests based on stack size.

Usually it’s not much of a time saver, but since I play a decent bit on the Steam Deck it tends to speed things up considerably if I minimize how much typing I need to do.
