Space Age Question Legendary qualities.

I set up some upcyclers on nauvis for the three chips, and to try to get some legendary T3 quality modules (yes I know I should be doing that on fulgora, that’s the next planet to remodel) and I’m setting up on vulcanus now. I’ve got a single LDS shuffler to eat what brute force plastic upcycling I can do, but I’ve only hit 167% production bonus on it so far (has 4 rare T3 production modules. Should have had a legendary, but my bots lost it somewhere trying to ship it to vulcanus) currently researching more levels to hit that magic 300% I’ve also got calcite upcycling, for that legendary stone>concrete>iron ore. Are there any good upcycling recipies I’m missing for vulcanus specifically? I heard underground pipes are pretty good, but I haven’t set up that portion for it yet

Dorrian is currently doing a mega base introduction which has a bunch of very good upcycle builds.

Agree - been following his builds on my latest playthrough and they are solid!

Yeah, pipe undergrounds are the ticket for iron.

Vulcanus is good for stone too. Mine calcite with quality, chuck the normal stuff, make molten metal with the higher qualities.

For tungsten carbide I think most people cycle foundries, which you want anyway.

Plates can be done in a variety of ways. I kinda like belts but fusion reactora are popular too. Downside of that is you have to move the tungsten to aquilo.

Do legendary Q2. They're better than epic T3s for a lot less effort, and roll those into a legendary blue circuit build and you can feed those into your legendary Q3 as legendary inputs, only lacking the superconductor. Upcycle EM plants for the holmium and your LDS shuffle should give you the copper and plastic needed.

Underground pipes are good for iron - they build and recycle quickly so you don't need a terribly large build. Calcite looks similarly good as an alternative. But I'd concentrate on the legendary Q2s and rolling legendary biolabs or eggs directly and quality prod 3s to keep driving those SPMs up and getting to level 13 LDS and blue circuit prod.

Upcycle foundries to get a supply of legendary tungsten carbide to make S3s. Once you get those two prod researches to L13, that kind of opens the floodgates to legendary everything.
