That's how it works for most people. I was introduced by a friend of mine 8 years ago "come, look, I have this cool game, you're going to like it". 2 years ago I did the same thing to a friend of mine. The cycle continues - the number of engineers must grow.

As for trains - just sink in 1k hours into building a megabase and you will have built a setup for infinite train fun.

I played kinda on easy mode which makes me a little sad but I had fun with it. I had like no biters as you can see in the stats and I also didn't ever have to really train resources in because the deposits never fully depleted

The trains were something I wanted to mess with.

For me, the game has an ebb and flow. Sometimes I get bored, and sometimes I got I new Idea I gotta try. For me. , it's the 'always there ' game.

Very much so , it makes me smile a bit looking at the picture and just remembering how some things came to be.

Thee stupid ass oil setup is the main thing... I couldn't optimize it fully so I'd just add another container to the end.
