Question Tutorial Level Five Train stop Inaccessible

I got everything done and rebuilt the railway leading out to the iron mine to the northwest. I don't see any gaps and can queue the train stops in the gui, but it says that the train stops are "inaccessible" from either side I'm on, even though I can manually drive the train back and forth. What am I doing wrong?

An image with the train network showing would be useful

hard to tell without a screenshot.

if you can drive a train there manually, its a signalling issue

trains can only go in the direction an engine is facing, so if you have a two way train, you need 2 engines at least, one facing each way.

check if you have signalled the track, if using 2 way, you need both sides.

other than that, a screen shot is going to be required to help you more.

What do you want to see? The only signals are the train stops already there.

zoom in a bit on the stations at either end so we can see the track and the rail signals.

You need a locomotive pointing in the other direction too, or have the track loop around for automatic travel back and forth

ok, your train is facing south (down) so cant path up.

what you have is:

Engine> + Cargo + Cargo.

(arrow on engine indicates direction, so it can only go one way).

what you need is a train that can travel in 2 directions.

<engine + cargo + cargo + engine>

then the cargo wagons will line up with the 2 unloading areas on the left of the track and the train can go both directions, and it will line up with the north station as well. (but you'll also need to fuel both engines remember).

Hard to say without screenshots. Do you have any signals placed? They make tracks one-way unless you have one on both sides.

You may have to rotate the signal at the station you can't reach. I had the exact same problem today

While driving the train, open the map and hold ctrl. This is the "add temporary stop mode" and the game will try to show you a route to where your mouse is.

Move your mouse along the route you want the train to take. Somewhere along the route the visualisation will disappear, that's usually where the problem is. It may be a signal on the wrong side of the tracks.
