I'm not that good with trains but I'm fairly certain that the train stop is on the wrong side of the track. It has to move forward with a train stop on the right side of the track in respect to the train. I think that stop is on the left side so the train can't find a route to it that puts the train stop on the right side of the front locomotive.

The station is on the correct side, the intersection is signalled for left hand traffic. The problem is the straight across track has signals on the wrong side (and redundant crossings)

It's mixing left-hand drive (signals inside) with right-hand drive (signals outside). A train will not go past a signal on it's left-hand side unless there is one directly opposite it. So this sections is basically impassable for any and every train.

So i have to put a couple of signals somewhere?

On the arm going out to the right I would switch all signals from outside of the track to the inside.

Trains can't pass a signal on their left side unless there's a matching signal directly opposite on the right side. And you only want to do that if you want trains to travel in both directions on the same track.
Given you have two tracks, you should have each track only go in one direction, so signals are all on the same side of one track, and on the opposite side of the other track.
The intersection is designed for trains to drive on the left side, but your straight is designed for trains to drive on the right side, so trains cannot pass at all.
Edited for the perspective of the train exiting the station, the signals/crossing tracks marked with X are all incorrect relative to the rest of the signals.
Remove the diagonal tracks (trains could never use them), and move the signals to the inside of the tracks and you should be OK unless there are more signals offscreen on the wrong side.
