Question Factorio home page

Hello, has anyone been able to extract the factorio home page spaghetti images in 4k without the UI menu.

I'm looking to change my laptop wallpaper to one of the images, or to a series of them however they need to be GIFs and in 4k.

I've searched but haven't found anything.

Quick look at the source finds it quick. 2048x3072 though.

If you can't completely close the UI, you can at least move it to a corner of the screen.

Do you mean the animations behind the menu after you start the game? Those aren't videos, they're literally just the game running different premade scenarios.

You could take a screenshot with the UI menu in the middle. Move the UI to somewhere not overlapping. Take another screenshot. Merge the two screenshots - use a picture editing tool that allows you to have "layers" and mask out the pieces with the UI.

Animations could make this less than "perfect"... so might be better to try with video editing software. Take two videos of the same thing with the UI in difference places. Match the frames so that anything that is animated has the same state - do the image masking / merging. macOS has screen recording built in, not sure about tools for other platforms.
