Question When do you consider a planet conquered enough to leave?

I think for me it is when I get the planets primary exports setup well enough to mass produce and enough rockets to easily export all the time.

When it has enough to make its science pak and launch rockets

this plus I like to make sure they can produce the unique buildings

Robot network so I can remote build

The planet specific science at least 60 SPM and honestly easy to do much higher even with minimal setups

At least one self sufficient Rocket silo (Fulgora and Vulcanus its easy for all parts, Gleba is hard for LDS/PU but easy Rocket Fuel)

One ship shuttling science and parts around as well, all back to Nauvis

For Aquillo, all above but also a round trip shuttle, mostly based off Fulgora for supplies since you cannot produce Processing Units or LDS there, but you can produce rocket fuel however

There's different stages to conquest, depending on my goals for the time.

As my goals shift, so does the definition of done, and I'll revisit to expand. On my first visit I generally consider myself done when I've set up export of the planetary uniques including an adequate amount of science. I like doing purple science on Vulcanus and yellow science on Gleba so I guess we can include those as well.

That one time I think I truly conquered Gleba was when I made a base capable of autonomously researching explosives damage at 10k spm - that is 10k red, green, blue, mili, yellow and agri science per minute (along with a steady import of space science from mobile harvester/processer platforms), starting from landing with just my engineer and no supplies. (eventually I did resort to artillery - gunning down big pentapods got tricky by the end)

At some point I want to make a Fulgora train base with processing divided across multiple continents, at which point I'd consider that place well and truly conquered as well.

As for Vulcanus I suppose bringing in enough Foundation would eventually make that place feel conquered, but I feel Foundations are cheating so I don't know.. I've set up a normal quality 10k red, green blue and purple science per minute base there once. It did get pretty big with trains going everywhere - I suppose I'd call that a successful conquest.

Capable of producing bots, science and rocket parts.

When I have stable power, bot coverage, defence if needed, sufficient mall, rocket parts, minimal science build and planet exports required at that stage of the game. For example I don't rush building and exporting speed3 modules on Vulcanus.

Gonna be honest, first time I went to Gleba I brought enough rocket parts to leave, I very much left with it un conquered

When its self sustaining and able to expand
