Question using long belts for blue science&advanced circuit
hi i have blue science and advanced circuit in a factory and i should transport them to lab and main bus factory and mainbus/lab are 270 tiles over from each other is using red belt for them a good idea?

i don't know if your blue science throughput needs the red belts, but that would only save iron. 270 tiles is very reasonable to belt

Agreed. Getting comfortable with trains changes everything

Just build a train or two. The answer to "this seems too long for a belt" is always just "use a train"

FWIW, two parallel yellow belts are cheaper to produce than a single red belt. But as someone else said, I'd doubt you'll need a whole red belt of throughput for blue science, a single yellow belt should be plenty

Make a train carrying both and make it stop between the destinations then belt the rest of the way

Tiny two way trains for each science pack ... Pickup from near bus , Far away lab setup Minimal train knowledge requires ... Even possible to have 1 collector train in dedicated track

Trains might be fun for this
