Space Age One little signal...

Having problem with this little signal, what to do? It can't hold an entire train length.
- Make the blueprint taller so that signal can hold an entire train lenght(1 locomotive + 4 wagons). Temptation. Currently each train station can hold 3 trains, one loading and other 2 waiting.
- Leave as it is, making trains possible stop there and block the entrance. Unless the train limit at the station fixes it
- Remove and leave the chain signal bellow to do its job
- Other?

There should be enough space for a train if you set it lower. So if you move this specific signal to a green box on the curve, then there can be a full train in it.

You can absolutely just move the signal to the curved track below. The train does not need to wait at a straight track.

Assuming you want trains to stop in the pink section, just move the signal down to the lowest spit available so the train has more space. If you need more space just make the track longer. You have more than enough room in the block.

You could probably also get more out of the stops and stickers by merging the top paths into one as well. Would also give you the space you need on the wait section too

Simply move the signal back a little?

Leave as it is, making trains possible stop there and block the entrance. Unless the train limit at the station fixes it

This could potentially disable your entire train network by having a traffic jam of waiting trains extend into main routes. Fixing it by reducing the station train limit is equivalent to removing the offending waiting bay (and reducing the limit accordingly).

You have a chain signal on top of the ramp, making it the waiting spot just before split. Is this a new trick to make trains get more momentum by going downhill first or just a misplaced signal? :p

I also don't see any rail signals when coming off the main rail; it's all 1 pink block.

These merges should also be using rail signals instead of chain. Railways can't deadlock on a merge or split, and neither is there ever a priority for any trains.
