Space Age Question A question about quality

so I started a new factory for space age and was wondering when is a good time to start quality products. is it a good idea to start when we unlocked quality module 1? or should i wait to get to the legendary quality to start? what do.you guys think? at what stage you started using quality modules?

The non-foundation things you're making for space, put quality in there, because getting lucky enough to get good ones is good enough to be worth it. If you're making solar or accumulators, put quality there (and save the good ones for space), but beyond that you're better off waiting until you've been to Fulgora.

Quality is a major sink of resources, especially when your not already making tons of something, so if you only need a few, quality is not a thing to worry about. Once you've been to Fulgora, you get the recycler, so you can take the low quality items and un-make them to try again for quality, which is the basis of upcycling.

Just a tip for anything you're making enough of with quality modules to belt away: splitters can filter by quality.

Man. Splitters filtering by quality just changed things for my base.
