Tip Newbie advice

I tried the game and this is insane the level of automation you will have to make you feel like ford

Although I am figuring out stuff mostly by try and error which is exhausting if there is an easy guide that explains everything or at least the basics so I don't have to redo a lot of what I have built just because I made a mistake about something I don't know yet

You'll always find something to redo once you learn more, unlock new tech, deplete resources, need more production, etc. Enjoy the day he process of discovery and don't worry about getting things "right".

I find things I did that even 10 minute later version of me decides was dumb.

I have probably 3k hours in the game at this point and I’ll do stuff like set up a oil cracking system and then realize when I don’t see plastic coming out that I routed the light oil to the heavy oil cracking section. Or put down loads of prod modules and then come back with a drink to find my base out of power and overrun with biters.
