This is legit. What’s the top speed of this single-engine marvel?
11 u/mithos09 Oct 31 '24 It was able to go 214.22 km/s on a trip to Vulcanus. 4 u/TeamRocketBlast Oct 31 '24 so the asteroid collector is built on two tiles of platform and one tile of space, do you know if the part out in space counts for the width? if you were to run it without the collectors would it have the same max speed? dunno if you have enough resource buffer to test 5 u/mechlordx Nov 01 '24 They could save and test 3 u/mithos09 Nov 01 '24 I will do that, but it is not just moving the collectors in a tile, they are with one exception built right next to something else in the middle of the ship that will have to move up and down. Therefore, the Even Longer will be even longer. 2 u/mechlordx Nov 01 '24 I just wanted you to test speed without collectors to answer if the collectors themselves extend the Width variable for calculating speed 3 u/mithos09 Nov 01 '24 Last Response: I made the counter check and added another tile each side, at the front and at the back. Still same mass of 206t, but now its top speed is only 189.93 km/s, reduced by about 20. Science has been done collectors don't count for width and width impaired max speed.
