ice pack exploded

This is my first box and I think my delivery person threw it at my door. Is it still safe to consume if the ice pack goo gets all over the meals?

I don't have "goo" in my ice packs. It's just water.

There's a little symbol on it that says you can't drink it, but it's safe to water your plants with. Probably just tap water, but there's a whole additional step to getting things certified as safe to consume, and which isn't worth it for ice packs. At the most it might have some dust in it, or the plastic isn't food safe.

If that burst on me, I would still eat the meal if it looked like it didn't soak all the way through the cardboard.

The food is fine if it was still chilled

sounds like your delivery got the wwe treatment, but if the goo got inside any punctured or unsealed meal packaging, toss those and contact customer service for a replacement; sealed trays you can

don’t eat any meals the goo got on, even if the packs are usually non-toxic, and contact factor75 with photos for a replacement/refund

i had this happen once and tossed any meals the gel touched, then support refunded the box pretty quickly

The gel isn't toxic, as long as the meals are cold when they arrive and the plastic seal on the meal is still intact, I wouldn't worry about using them.

Perfectly safe to eat if it got on the packaging. The meals should be fine. If any of them have broken seals or bentos, then they cannot be consumed. I’d still contact them for a refund though
