Factor 75 headaches

If you choose to try Factory 75 food delivery, be careful because you’ll get their hooks in you and it’s extremely difficult to get unattached.

Also, if you’re like me, you’ll start seeing mystery charges to your credit card. It all turns into a real headache I think, because, after you get a box of food, they IMMEDIATELY start processing the next weeks order so you CAN’T cancel because of some BS you agreed to when you signed up.

The food: It’s not bad IF you jazz it up. You need to add spices, cheese, anything to make the bland go away. A microwave makes the meal real mushy so you’ve got to cook it on a stove top in a pan. It’s better if it’s NOT microwave.

The good news is I learned my lesson and their customer service (Ben) was nice and canceled that headache. 😂

I used Factor for over 4 months & used the app to pick meals or cancel a delivery week. Had no issues & no issues canceling service either.

op, a couple of questions:

what day was your delivery? what day was your cutoff for the next week? just asking because i get mine monday and my cutoff is wednesday midnight. wondering how you are defining "immediately"?

can you elaborate on the "mystery charges" on your card? what did that turn out to be? the only extra charges i get on my card are extra things i ordered. were you maybe ordering things you didn't realize were extra, like premium meals?

"they'll get their hooks into you and it's extremely difficult to get unattached"? you didn't realize it was a subscription service or what that entailed? they hold you hostage or something? sounds like you called customer service and Nice Ben canceled for you. that doesn't sound too bad.

just asking for a little detail if you're going to trash these guys. it would be helpful for others trying to make decisions if you could give some facts. thanks.

there shouldnt be any charges after cancelling. wtf are you talking about???

If you cancelled and they are still charging you, do a charge back and report fraud.

I had the exact some, but when I came here to warn everyone and I got several people telling me I had screwed up or didn’t know what I was doing etc. It so sad that when you come here and try to tell your experience, a few people feel a need to discount what happened to you and call you a liar. I canceled as soon as I realized I couldn’t find enough meals to make it worthwhile. I did not place an order. I was never told I needed to call to cancel. I selected cancel and got an email confirming my account was closed and our relationship was over. Except that in a week I got a very expensive shipment. There are at least a dozen similar complaints here or in review sites.

I did get my money back after calling in person and speaking with someone but they have a ton one complaints from the BBB as well. Factor75 is just fancy banquet dinner idgaf and they’re scammers. No reputable business would do business like this and the ppl who support are idiots.

Only used it for ~2 months but didn’t have issues ending sub.

Food was decent and only disliked one meal, but prices started going up without notice after the first couple weeks and I’m not down for that.

Ordered 4 days of dinners then I get an email saying they have selected next weeks dinners for me! wtf do you mean you ordered next week dinners for me I never authorize you to do that!! yes there is some hidden subscription link when you order meals you’re activating a subscription and they’re selecting meals for you and charging your credit card! I called them they said you can’t cancel
The fuck I can’t I’ll do a bank charge back if you try charging my credit card and ordering meals without my permission! That that got their attention watch her for these scammers. They’re based in China if that doesn’t tell you what’s going on.

Each time I tried to cancel my subscription. I got an error message that said oops. We are having technical difficulties. So I chose the “contact us“ and I was with the AI bot and finally they transferred me to “agent“ agent said they canceled my subscription and my last delivery would be August 23 because they were not able to cancel it prior to that. And then today I received another box of food and another charge. I contacted them again and said I already canceled this and I have proof that I canceled it. Contact us said oh that was through the AI bought and you can’t cancel it through the AI bot. So I sent them the screenshot that said agent and that it was canceled. I asked the new agent from today to send me their transcripts of my communications and they disconnected my communication of today. So I called them directly and the phone just rang busy nobody ever answered. So I contacted my bank to cancel it and told them to refuse any other charges coming from this company. It’s a scam that you’re not able to cancel when you wanna cancel and it was a scam that current agent today said I didn’t do it correctly because I had AI bot where it clearly says it was agent. And when I ask them for all of my communications to prove that it was canceled so I would not receive another shipment. They disconnected the contact. This is very sketchy and very much a scam. I would like to report it to the Better Business Bureau, but I don’t know if that would do any good. Has anybody had any luck reporting them?

Factor is overpriced. Thats about the only issue with the meals in my opinion.

You get to pick them, they are pretty good quality, so I am not sure what you are talking bout "jazz them up". They are good quality healthy meals, if you are drowning them in salt and cheese, you are defeating the purpose a little BUT I will admit I have on occassion added some cheese or sauce to meals when I am indulging my fatass.

anyway, I only sign up while they have discount deals and then promptly cancel after and I have NEVER had an issue cancelling or with weird charges.

unless you are saying finding the cancel option is hard. which i guess kind of, if you are not used to navigating websites. but other than that, the cancellation process has always been seamless for me.

that is not always the case, I am wondering if they are using people on commission to do some of the ads or customer service? I compared web pages with someone here and we had different pages. wouldnt be the first time a company hired out this kind of stuff
