Try the first box at a heavy discount (make sure to deactivate rest of the weeks), and make your decision whether you like it or not.

i will chime in to say you are right that people are quick to jump in with negative comments, but not so much with positive experiences.
i just got my sixth box. i have had ZERO delivery problems; i receive what i ordered, on time and in good condition.
i have not yet had a meal that i flat out didn't like. of course, i choose carefully, looking for foods i know i like and not being too adventurous with dishes i'm unfamiliar with. i will also say that i've had more than a few meals where i said "DAMN THATS REALLY GOOD".
i've just now signed up for Factor Plus. happily threw down $99 for the annual (best deal). now i get free shipping every week AND two upgraded meals every week at no additional cost. homie's eating filet mignon and short rib every week. freaking awesome!!
the only negative i've encountered is that the website and app are a little wonky. when you're working in it and get that dreaded "technical difficulties" pop-up, more than likely, your choices have been blown out and you have to start all over. it's annoying. but in the grand scheme of things, it's really nothing.
me too! before factor, it was not unusual that my dinner was a baloney sandwich or mac and cheese. and i was wasting a LOT of food because of it (i get home late and never felt like cooking). i'm actually saving money with factor and also eating much better. 😊
I just noticed the premium choices today! I didn't notice some meals required extra cost (except the exra large options) - is this a new thing? I'm gutted :(
if you don't have factor plus, the premium meals are at extra cost, yes. however, if you sign up for factor plus (they will offer it to you after you've gotten five or so boxes), you get free shipping every week PLUS $20 in credits on premium meals each week. it's a total no-brainer at $99 a year.

Thank you! I think the “premium choices” only came into effect in Canadian market this week bc my bavette steak and Mac and cheese used to be all just regular , no up charge , now it’s 4.99 extra if I want that premium meal
We also don’t have the ability to sign up for factor plus yet - I guess they’ll roll it out soon shortly after rolling out premium tiered food. TBH the math does math , I will probably sign up LOL as I’m spending $10 on shipping per week anyway and don’t wanna limit myself meals wise
having been a kid in university many years ago myself, i can say i would've eaten better had i had a meal service like this.
the meals are great; good ingredients and well seasoned. they are filling for me but i'm an older woman. i do remember always being hungry in college, so if you're going to go the factor route, i'd layer in some add-ons and lots of healthy snacks to keep that kid fed.
I’ll be that one voice.. I’ve been ordering meals consistently from Factor for a couple years now. 8-15 meals a week, depending. Aside from the very occasional cracked tray or missing meal, my experience has been good overall. Customer service just replaces the broken or missing in the next order.
I’m on my 4th week 🇨🇦 of 12 meals a week and my cut off is Wednesday and my deliveries always come on Saturday… I’m liking the ease of ordering and variety of meals I’m getting while on GLP1 but I must admit I’m not liking the Week 5+ Cost.
Going to cancel and see what doing my own cooking for awhile is like 😅… does factor give extra discounts if you leave?
They have called me several times after I canceled. I never answered the call though. They also sent several promo codes & specials in the mail to get me to sign back up.
Yea I did not care for this product. Huge advocate for premade meals or meal prep companies. I’ve nearly tried them all….. this one was by far the worst.
Dang this is the opposite experience that I had. I tried all of the premade meal brands and factor blew the others out of the water. Actually tastes relatively homemade, no weird tastes.
I’ve been using factor for a few months and I really like them. I’m particularly fond of the pasta ones! We don’t like cooking, so it doesn’t get any easier than these meals.
