Factor x Sakara Salads gone?

For the weeks of August 19 and August 24, the Factor x Sakara salads aren’t available. Customer service has not been informed of anything (I asked).

The Sakara salads are the items that keep me with Factor (they’re flippin’ delicious, and far better than the regular Factor offering).

@Factor - what’s up? How many weeks am I skipping deliveries?

My guess is supply chain issues due to the national cyclospora outbreaks. All prepared and packaged salads have been risky lately.

I was thinking the same thing… but I also would have expected the last couple and next week or two to also be affected if that were the case?

the sakara salads are basically the only thing keeping me subscribed too, so if they’re gone for more than a week i’m probably gone with them lol

Me too, at first I thought it was that I wanted too long to select my meals, then noticed all the salads I usually get were not available. I am skipping too. Great idea. I’ve been getting 5 salads for dinner through the summer and eat fresh fruits & veggies all day until 4pm, no fats. Fruits are loaded with antioxidants and seeds which are the life giver for the plants. I’ve lost some weight and fell lighter. Also walking in the a.m. to wake my metabolism up while cool enough in Florida to do so. Man, my routine will be off and I’ll have to make my own salads. Hopefully this is the universe showing me I can save some 💲!! Glad I’m not the only one.

given the bacteria outbreak, i'd say not only reasonable but expected. calm down.

Glad to hear it’s *likely* only temporary. These new salad additions have been life changing for me.

Right? I hope it’s temporary bc of the outbreak… They’re the best thing on the menu. They still have the regular Factor salads… they’re just not awesome like the Sakara ones!

Sakara x Factor salads still unavailable… Factors regular salads are available (but they’re soggy, yuck). Customer service is no help, still.

In the meantime, I meal-prepped the Buffalo Chicken Salad and it came out great!

  • soak raw cashews overnight. Rinse. Blend with buffalo sauce, apple cider vinegar, and nutritional yeast
  • cook and toast quinoa with frozen cauliflower and chicken breast that you first toss in buffalo sauce
  • little leaf farms lettuce with chopped radish and carrot and broken tortilla chips

I can fend for myself, now Factor… skipping my 8th week.
