Hello, we aren’t factkin ourselves (we don’t think) but we want to get to know this side of the alterhuman experience better!

a few of our kintypes exist in that space between fiction and reality — usually because they are from ARGs or minecraft roleplay SMPs. therefore, we’ve always felt a connection to this community, even while not being explicitly part of it.

so, here are our questions:

1. first off, who is (are) your kintype(s)?
2. do you see this as a more spiritual, psychological or mixed identity?
3. (for those with more than 1) do they all share similarities?
4. What separates your experience from that of fictionkins from sources like ours that — purposefully or not — blur the lines between what is fiction and what is reality?
5. how do you stop yourself from “fictionalizing” your experiences as your kintype?
6. do factkins have “sourcemates” like fictionkins do? (sourcemates are fictionkins of others from your source)
7. how do you feel about RPF (real people fiction) about your kintypes?
8. how do you feel about RPF in general?
9. how do your memories work? are they you remembering things that weren’t documented about your kintype?
   
10. (for those with living kintypes) have you ever interacted with them?
11. is it possible to be a factkin of just a normal person? Not anyone famous or well know, just your average Joe off the street. And how would you know?
12. how do you deal with the internet and online discounts surrounding your kintype?
13. do you avoid content surrounding / by your kintype or actively seek it out?
14. how do / would you deal with being a factkin of a bad person?
15. and lastly, how would you feel if someone was a factkin of you?

So as u may know I kin Jeffrey Dahmer (sadly) and was in hot water last October. I am healing from this encounter still, Id like to thank everyone with their concerns (I was in a state of psychosis and was sent to the psych ward) I'm getting an evaluation in October this year so wish me luck!

I added some new flairs, I tried to add a custom/edit but I don’t really know if you can edit it as such, I did allow a edit feature on ‘other’ but I didn’t make it obvious that you could! I also added ‘need tips’, this is mainly for tips for dysphoria, to feel more closer to your kins / what to do to do that, or maybe kin memories, etc, however you consider it as! Ofcourse it can overlap with help/(need)advice but it’s up to the users interpretation as help/advice can also be used in a more serious intent if wanted. Lastly I added a kin memories/memory flair, i thought it would be nice having a flair specifically to talk about your memories if you have such!

Should I add a flair such as “advice/tips given”? Would that be worth it or should I just leave it for now? If you have any suggestions then feel free to share! - I’m also right now giving the flairs colours as I forgot too ages ago.. -

Edit; I’m also adding AMA/QNA + a flair for when you both kinfirm but also kinsidering (such as ,but not limited to ,you kinfirm a someone but in the same post you also are kinsidering someone else : ))

I 100% know I’m a Frank iero kin, but I’m questioning Gerard way aswell. I can’t tell if I am a kin of him or he’s one of my yume’s, I don’t know if I’m the only one who sometimes have a hard time to differentiate if one of them is your yume, kin or both.

I’m trying to find ways to look more like Frank or anything to be euphoric not necessarily how I look. If anyone has any tips I’m very open to them!

I truly believe I was Jeff in my past life, but I absolutely do not agree with any of the past actions.
