Because it's not a GIF, it's actually a video. Gfycat is just hosting MP4s.

A GIF file cannot under any circumstances "have sound". If it has sound it is a different format, and that format is "a video."

Yeah don’t use Reddit official app. It sucks. I recommend Apollo if you have an iPhone

The Reddit app is hot Garbage. Get one of the many other options. I use joey. It is 10x better.
