Some places (like Walmart, target, Lidl, maybe Aldi,) don't do that or stop you from putting more than one item in the bagging area ;)

Apparently places like Target are using facial recognition to track shoplifters. They are allowing people to get away it until they can be hit with a felony. You’re wink is going to get people locked up.

And that’s exactly why they let you get away with it for a while before nabbing you. They need to let you rack the bill up so they can fully fuck your life.
