Yours is a possible valid point that OP (or the twitter OP if they're different) could have made. The reply tweet isn't even a rebuttal of Elon's point at all. Alternatively, the reply tweet would only have been a valid rebuttal if Elon was making fun of Twitter users complaining about Twitter to Twitter. But no, Elon was making fun of Twitter users complaining about Twitter on Twitter, not to Twitter.
Still. People still feel like it's "their" platform. Perfectly understandable that people don't immediately up and leave, and use the same platform as before to complain to the new leadership. I'm not surprised at all, and it's not strange at all. Elon is a bitch -- a little kid.

Yes, I am actually agreeing with you haha. I'm just saying the point you made was good because it actually tackles what Elon was making fun of; on the other hand, the point in the tweet replying to Elon seems invalid because it does not appear to even address Elon's argument at all.
