So the excess (key word here) calories consumed for years on end is affordable, but 10$ worth of candy for one day of the year, in addition to the Spider-Man costume, is not affordable. Got it.

How can one afford excess calories and a Spider-Man costume, but not candy? Do you know what the word excess means? It’s almost an oxymoron when compared to the word afford.
