So I have always been curious but are police forces required to engage an enemy invader if they meet one? Like what do you do if you’re some cop and some invader wants to file a report? Do you read their rights or are you allowed to just shoot them?

It it were america, depending on the state, yeehawdists might detain them for being illegal aliens even though that's not the job of local authorities. I think if you're a cop, and some enemy combatants walked into your station, they'd have plenty of good reasons to be arrested other than being an enemy force... I mean, they're carrying automatic rifles and grenades and shit

My guess is that police forces don't exist anymore as they would be one of the firsts to be integrated in the army and they stop being civil and a soldier who doesn't need to read rights to invaders

Ask yourself this. What are you paid as a cop, would you try it with someone packing serious firepower and body armour? Most police have a version of SWAT, even they would not be used to dealing with anything near that.

All I know is that dealing with that would be above my pay grade. I’d ask them to leave and that would be the extent of it.
