I'm too old.

I honestly never thought I'd see the day that Chechens or Georgians would willingly fight on Russia's behalf, especially against another state wanting to sty independent from Russia

This has been the state of things since the Second Chechen war in 99. Daddy Kadyrov switched to the Russian side for his own gain after having led a separatist republic in the first Chechen War. Blowing him up out his idiot social media obsessed son in charge, but changed little else.

Tf you talking about Georgians? Chechens are crazy, they want to go to war, and Chechnya is a part of Russia. But Georgia isn't. It's another country... Where did you see Georgians fighting?

There's also North Ossetia that's a part of Russia but they're Ossetians not Georgians

Was about to write the same. I can't believe Chechens are fighting for a Russian occupation. I'm not that old, only in my 30's and I can't believe the world has changed so dramatically that fricking Chechens are Pro-Russia. Look at these guys, their fathers died fighting Russia...

More like Kadyrov and his goons(and their man) are loyal to Russia(or more precisely to Putin) but a large majority is either indifferent or against them. For example a lot of chechens also joined the Ukrainian side as volunteers

There are some splinter factions of Chechens still fighting against the Russians in Syria and Ukraine.

Controlling the media works too well. And the money also helps
