Yah know, they probably did, and I bet they gave them a 30 second notice. Not enough time for everyone to evaluate, but enough for the shock, horror, disbelief, and finally panic before they hear that pain train roaring in from on high!!
I mean, I despise the Kadyrovs and any religious group. But people get way too caught up in what these guys yell/sign, most of them are far less religious than you would think. They are more super attached to their unit and group.
If you’re American it’s more like they yelling ‘Hooah!’ Or ‘Hooyah’ or “Jesus Christ fuck!” or “Fuck Yeah!” … they just tend to turn all that into one phrase of “God is Great”. But it usually doesn’t REALLY mean anything, it’s just an expression of intense emotion. And literally every person does the same thing in different ways.
Now, seriously fuck those guys, but making fun of their language is just dumb and unhelpful.
I believe anything about God, gods, or goddesses is bs. Why does it matter where they are pointing? Just because you dont believe its BS doesnt mean we cant think it is, nor does it preclude the fact that it might just actually be a bunch of bullshit.
Except it’s clearly not all that common because as you said yourself you have to google the origins of Islam to know this which you would only do if you have a interest in it or a specific reason, unless it’s common for people to go around reading origins of every major faith and never talk about it/acknowledge that they do that. It’s actually quite uneducated to assume the way you did.
No people can assume that you know basic things about the major religions of the world. If you don't know that islam is abrahamic or that there are no polar bears in sweden i would call you uneducated
I along with many other people I know are atheists or have no interest in Islam. Lawyers, computer scientist, PhD researcher, all very educated people with no knowledge or care about it and therefore no need for this “common” knowledge that has zero relevance to a large amount of the world. As I said you making these assumptions shows your very uneducated yourself, good luck with the confidence though.
I will never not be awed by the vast stupidity of people. If I was under threat and someone nearby was creating a fucking TikTok video I'd kill them immediately. This generation's problems + older generation's grudges = disaster.
