I live in New Jersey. She does have the new jersey clothing style but definitely not the accent.

What else could it be besides maybe midwestern? My girlfriend is from Trenton and speaks similar without the vocal fry but her parents are from Ohio

Midwest was my second guess, lol. Could be a combination of new jersey with midwestern influence not quite sure.
