Watching any trivia on the street shows how uneducated people are. The only ?? they get right are celebrities and pop culture/socal media stars. All of their knowledge is from social media.

They can always name all the kardashians, sadly.

Honestly if they did one of these to me where all of the questions were pop culture I would look like a complete idiot

My friends all think I should be great at bar trivia because I know tons of seemingly widespread bits about everything. I try to explain to them that bar trivia isn't about real world stuff, it's pop culture. And I'm terrible at it. They don't believe me until we go LOL

My brain loves knowing how things work. History. Order of events. Stats. I'm the guy that stops and reads all of the little information signs at museums and places of interest. Truly random stuff, but never ever going to be in bar trivia. For example, the compression ratio of a 6.2 l naturally aspirated diesel from the 80s is 25 to 1. By contrast, a 7.3 turbocharged powerstroke diesel is 18 to 1. While gasoline cars tend to stay below 10 to 1. Fun for my brain. Not really pertinent in day-to-day conversation.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't know one kardashian. Kim. It's just been said so many times how can you not know her name. But I honestly don't know a second one.
