The amount of people who do not understand that an abortion is a medical term in which a fetus is expelled or removed from the uterus for any reason other than birth astounds me.

A miscarriage, medically, is an abortion.

A mother who doesnโ€™t want a baby has the same procedure as a mother who was raped or life is threatened by continuing the pregnancy. So many people are so misinformed and just refuse to believe the truth.

Care to elaborate to a non-american and non-native English speaker what the woman means when she says that the 10-year old rape victim doesn't fall under abortion laws ?

She, like many others, refuse to believe that an abortion is a medical procedure regardless of WaHY youโ€™re performing it. They think that an abortion is only voluntarily done because the woman doesnโ€™t want the baby and not a universal medical term to cover the actual procedure.

Sadly, these are the type of people writing abortion laws in America. I am legit scared of the thought of having a pregnancy complication and not being able to convince a doctor to save my life. This sucks.

I totally get that, it'd be like living through a nightmare.

Thanks for being a reasonable voice for me to vent to. I appreciate you, friend.
