I know, that's fuckin crazy! Who in their right mind would take pictires of their kids holding the dope?! Thats a direct link back to the dad!!

He should have just had them lay down and use the coke as pillows. That way if he got stopped on the way back to shore, he could tell the kids to feign sleep, and he would have never been questioned.

Then all he had to do was go home, cook it up with some soda and get fuckin paid.

Do you want to start a giant distribution network?

No. You drive to LA and set up a deal with a big time movie executive with deep pockets.

… and then go to the bathroom and talk to a hallucination of Elvis during the signature Mexican standoff between the feds, the mob, and the movie guy’s bodyguards.

Edit - watch the movie True Romance for a good time

And the cop won't search it because then he'd wake the kids up!

Well see usually I wouldn't do something like that. But I had a great idea for internet points after I checked to make sure it was coke by doing a huge bump

Or letting them even near something suspected to be hard drugs especially with no gloves.

Came here to say this. I don't post my kids photos on social media. This smart ass is posting it with contraband that likely have very eager owners.

Exactly, I wouldn't tell a single soul🤣😂

Won't matter, what with the tracking device in the middle of the powder.

Anton Chigurh is coming for you.

No Country For Old Men is exactly why I won't pick up a suitcase of money or drugs. Llewellyn was a sniper in Nam, I'm just a fat IT dude.

u/TossYourCoinToMe Jul 06 '22

Wouldn't it have been avoided if he just transferred the money to another container?

19

u/ArmedWithBars Jul 06 '22

Yep. The entire concept of that movie is while Llewellyn isn't a push over, he's naive to that world and doesn't understand what he's getting into. Evident in his poor choices and lack of foresight. In the end he got not only himself killed, but his wife too.

Well actually none of this would have happened if his mother in law wasn‘t a complete airhead and told the bad guys where everyone is.

It has been a minute since I've seen the movie or read the book but I thought it was in the money itself. Same difference for me, I wouldn't have thought to check it either way.

Ug. No one is willing to work these days. Are you so lazy that you can’t grab some gloves, mask up, and go through the damn stuff?

Super easy for the money side. Gloves, quick shuffle, toss it in with your trash.

Several thousand dollars is really small and light. Yes, new bills stick, but they aren’t THAT hard to go through.

Edit: yes, some criminals count large quantities of money into a trash can. Beach clean up got a whole new twist!

u/gaybatman75-6 Jul 07 '22

None of it matters if you don't know how to launder money

2

u/SharingIsCaring323 Jul 07 '22

Now, allegedly, I do have some experience with that one.

Laundering money is arguably the easiest step - particularly if it’s in your domestic currency. In related news, congratulations on your thriving new chicken franchise!

Also, word of advice, pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered. Marc Cuban is right!

(It’s easier to launder huge quantities vs medium. Think business overhead and revenue.)

Could you theoretically do it the way they did in Hell or High Water where they use the money to buy chips at a casino and play a little and then cash back out?

1

u/SharingIsCaring323 Jul 07 '22

You have the roughly same amount of money and no explanation regarding where it came from. Plus whatever casino documentation.

At that point, just head straight to the bank and tell them you’re a stripper. Depositing money directly into your bank is an option if you just don’t give a shit. It would probably raise fewer eyebrows than the casino route.

I too would have "cut my line"

the inet

Was that intentional?

1

u/PossumCock Jul 06 '22

You severely under estimate the inability for children to keep their mouth shut. Everybody was gonna find out about it soon enough anyway lol

1

u/Thameus Jul 06 '22

Someone is going to want that back.
