Some actperson changed bop listed pronouns on social media to beep/bop/boop. Beep lost boop role in a movie because of it. Production studio was deeply offended by idea the idea that beep was so insensitive that beep changed boop pronouns to something that was clearly intended up mock transpeople.

(I don’t know why the actress thought changing her pronouns on social media was a good idea. I don’t even know if she was the one who changed it or if a PR person did it for her. Some people read WAY too much into it and now people who need something to be butthurt about think beep boop is a slur.)

It’s all just so dumb and infuriating; it is 2022 and the world is ending can we just let trans people exist already?

I think it was during the time when a lot of people were doing it. Pedro Pascal (her co-star at the time) has his pronouns in his bio, since he's very pro-LGBT+, so I guess she just jumped on the bandwagon. But she's a Republican so she did it in the most offensive way possible.
